Wang Shengfeng, Ph.D., Tenured Associate Professor / Researcher, Doctoral Supervisor. He is a recipient of the National Young Talent Program, Peking University Boya Young Scholar, and serves as Assistant Dean of the School of Public Health, Peking University. Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the School of Public Health, Peking University in 2012, and subsequently joined the faculty. He worked as a visiting scholar at the Pritzker School of Medicine, University of Chicago from 2015 to 2017.

As a principal investigator, he has led 20 projects, including grants from the National Key Research and Development Program of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Doctoral Program Foundation of the Ministry of Education, and the Key Project of Beijing Health Development Research Specialized Program. In the past five years, he has published over 150 papers in Chinese and English, with first/corresponding-author papers appearing in prestigious international journals such as Lancet HIV, JAMA Network Open, PLOS Medicine, Environmental Health Perspectives, and The American Journal of Gastroenterology.

Dr. Wang holds numerous academic leadership and committee positions, including: the Deputy Director of Diabetes Professional Committee, Chinese Medical Education Association; Health Education Methodology Branch, China Association of Health Promotion and Education; the Executive Committee Member of Rare Disease Professional Committee, Chinese Medical Association; the Member of Respiratory Disease Prevention and Control Committee, Chinese Preventive Medicine Association; Pharmacoepidemiology Professional Committee, Chinese Pharmaceutical Association; Public Health Ophthalmology Committee, Chinese Preventive Medicine Association; Youth Health Economics Branch, China Health Economics Association; the Technical Review Expert of Medical Devices, National Medical Products Administration; the Editorial Board Member of China Health Standard Management (Health Technology Assessment and Comprehensive Evaluation of Pharmaceuticals); the Standing Committee Member of Big Data Branch, Beijing Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Education Research Association; the Deputy Director of Ophthalmology Professional Committee, Beijing Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Education Research Association; He also serves on editorial boards as a Youth Editorial Board Member for Fundamental Research, and as a Corresponding/Youth Editorial Board Member for Chinese Journal of Epidemiology, Chinese Journal of Oncology, Chinese Journal of Pharmacoepidemiology, and Chinese Journal of Cancer Prevention and Treatment.

Dr. Wang is the Director of the Beijing Young University Teachers’ Innovative Teaching and Research Studio. His honors include: Yang Fuqing-Wang Yangyuan Academician Award for Excellence in Teaching (2025), Peking University Teaching Excellence Award (2024), Peking University Boya Young Scholar (2023), Peking University Health Science Center Inaugural Teaching Rising Star Award (2022), Peking University Zhongwai Medical Award (2022), First Prize, Beijing University Teacher Teaching Innovation Competition (2022), First Prize, National Blended Teaching Design Competition (2021), Peking University Zhengda Award (2020), First Prize, Beijing University Young Teacher Basic Teaching Skills Competition (2019).
